Duke of Edinburgh

Kids pour themselves into this challenging award scheme and we can help them to achieve the skills part of that goal.

We have been teaching teens for a number of years and know how to share the life skill of cooking, whilst making it a fun and relaxing part of the week.

As a small independent cooking school, we work with the DofE organisers as an independent provider.  Just check with your DofE Leader that they are happy for this activity to be signed off with us and we are ready to help!

We offer lots of flexibility on timing for this group to fit around school and a variety of solutions:

  • 1-2-1 lessons – for those who would like to learn fast
  • you can get a group together to share a set of private virtual or in-person lessons (6 works well!)
  • simple coaching and mentoring – for those who cook already and would just like our coaching and sign off support.

Back again due to popular demand!

Online D of E Cooking Course

A great and easy-to-access alternative to private lessons.

We cook simultaneously, via Zoom, from our own kitchens.

6-7pm on Monday evenings, next classes start on 22nd Jan 2024.

Dishes will be geared towards teen tastes, be adjustable to your needs and preferences and be ready on the table for the house to enjoy by 7pm!

We are also including a supermarket tour so to share how to get past the marketing and how to shop on a student budget.

If you do the full 12 weeks, that is your D of E skills element signed off – Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Prices: £21.50 for one, £122 for 6, £232 for all 12.
